The Books I Read in September

Is it really the end of September already? Time has certainly been flying and, with it, the number of books I have been reading. Unfortunately, I have not read as many books this month as the last couple of months – only 12, but I would still say that is a fairly impressive amount. So, without further ado, let’s see what adventures I went on this month.

As ever, for reference, the way I rate is as follows:

1-Unable to Finish ; 2-Did not enjoy ; 3-Liked ; 4-Really Liked ; 5-Loved

Paperback

The Book of Lost Things by John Connolly – 4/5

Lost in a Good Book by Jasper Fforde – 4/5

Well of Lost Plots by Jasper Fforde – 3.5/5

Winter by Marissa Meyer – 5/5

His Bloody Project by Graeme Macrae Burnet – 4.5/5

Hardbacks

Eleanor by Jason Gurley – 5/5

The Carnivorous Carnival by Lemony Snicket – 4.5/5

Kindle

Stealing Snow by Danielle Paige – 4/5 (review)

Rise of the Chosen by Anna Kopp – 4.5/5 (review)

A Wizard’s Forge by A.M. Justice – 3.5/5 (review)

Audiobook

Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix by J.K. Rowling, narrated by Stephen Fry – 5/5

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince by J.K. Rowling, narrated by Stephen Fry – 5/5

And there we have it, the 12 books I read this month. There was a good mix and some really great ones. Unfortunately, due to a bit of a readings slump at the beginning of the month and the sheer length of Winter, I wasn’t able to read more. October, here I come.
